Chief Mrs. Ugo Nnachi has become the commissioner for Commerce and Industry in Ebonyi State. This was followed by the resignation of the former commissioner for commerce and industry, Chief Engr. Dennis Ekumankama.
UGO NNACHI – MOST BEAUTIFUL COMMISSIONER
Chief Mrs. Ugo Nnachi who was the former SSA to Ebonyi State Governor on Donor Agencies has been duly promoted to the position of the commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Ebonyi State.
This was followed by the resignation of the former commissioner, Chief Engr. Dennis Ekumankama whose resignation was in pursuit of the Ebonyi South senatorial seat come 2019.
Beautiful Ugo Nnachi was the Senior Special Assistant to the Ebonyi State Governor on Donor Agencies before she met her elevation on the early hours of Thursday, 15th August, 2018.
It is important to note that Ugo Nnachi is a Lioness in Sociology and Anthropology which she obtained between 1980 – 1984. She furthered her education to obtain Master in Public Policy and Administration at the Abia State University, Uturu in the year, 2006.
She was the Ebonyi State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development (Oct 2001 – May, 2005), Executive Director of Daughters of Virtue and Empowerment Initiative (June 2005 – Oct 2007), Ebonyi State Permanent Secretary (Nov 2007 – March 2011), Ebonyi State Head of Service (March, 2011 – June, 2015), Ebonyi State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development (Oct 2001 – May, 2005), Executive Director of Daughters of Virtue and Empowerment Initiative (June 2015 – Till date).
Before her recent appointment as commissioner, she was the Senior Special Assistant to Ebonyi State Governor on Donors Agencies.
Asides from her professional qualifications, Ugo Nnachi is a mother who you wish to have. She is such a wonderful person, a caring heart of diamond, ears of golden acceptance and words full of kindness, great direction and careful admonitions.
