The University of Edinburgh Napier is a renowned public university in Edinburgh, Scotland. Napier Technical College, the predecessor of the university, was founded in 164, deriving its name from the 16th-century Scottish mathematician and philosopher John Napier.

Edinburgh Napier Scholarship Criteria

  • Kenyan citizens are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
  • All courses or subjects related to a master’s degree are offered by the university.
  • In order to be considered eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • Applicants must be residing in Kenya at the time of application.
  • Applicants must be self-funded students.

Edinburgh Napier Scholarship Application Procedure

The University of Edinburgh Napier is currently accepting applications for the 2023-2024 Kenya Scholarship. The following are the steps to follow in applying for the scholarship:

  • First, you must apply for admission online through the Postgraduate Applications Portal so as to qualify for the postgraduate programs. After accepting the letter, you can now proceed to submit the  GREAT Kenya Scholarship application.
  • Afterwards, you are required to attach the following documents to your application: Academic Transcript, letter of recommendation, statement of personal interest, proof of English Language proficiency, and a copy of your passport.
  • Applicants are required to meet all admission requirements for the chosen program.
  • Where English isn’t your first language, you must meet the  English Language requirements. Applicants applying for a postgraduate program are not required to take an English language test. So long as the bachelor’s degree is taught and examined in English.
