JAMB 2020/2021 Admission Exercise – The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has disclosed that it’s enabled its portal for institutions to upload names of shortlisted applicants for the 2020/2021 admission. The board emphasized that each one admission processes must undergo the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) for approval.

This was made known by the Registrar of JAMB, Prof Is-haq Oloyede during an interview with newsmen in Abuja.

According to him, only qualified candidates as recommended by their institutions for admission are going to be approved by the board.

He noted that the majority institutions, particularly private had commenced admission.

The registrar, however, added that public universities were yet to completely kick-start the method partly because they’re yet to conclude admissions for last year.

Prof Oloyede said: “Take note also that admission isn’t only for universities. There are polytechnics and colleges of education and apart from the closure due to COVID-19, they’re not suffering from the strike.

How To Check Admission Status on JAMB CAPS – JAMB 2020/2021 Admission Exercise

Visit: https://www.jamb.gov.ng/Efacility and login together with your registered email address and password to access your dashboard

Click on ‘Check Admission Status,

Click on ‘Access my CAPS’

Click on ‘Admission Status’ to ascertain if you’ve got been offered admission. If you’ve got been offered admission, you’ll proceed to simply accept OR REJECT ADMISSION But if you’re yet to be offered admission you’ll get a response like “Sorry No Admission has been Given Yet”, “Admission in progress” etc.
