Inter Milan hosts Tottenham today at the San Siro stadium to resume the 2018/2019 European Champions League contest.

INTER MILAN VS – TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR
Tottenham Hotspur received a shocking 2 – 1 defeat at Wembley stadium during the weekend in the hands of English Premier League contenders, Liverpool football club.
Today, being Tuesday, 18th September, 2018, they are to be welcomed by the Italian giants, Inter Milan at the San Siro stadium as they clash in the opening match of the 2018/2019 European Champions league.
The Italian giants also lost to Parma in their Serie A fixture on Saturday.
Inter Milan got the better side of their last most recent meeting with a 4 – 3 win in 2010/2011 campaign whereas Tottenham got a sweet revenge when Milan visited White Hart Lane in a return leg.
Mauro Icardi returns back to team after the Argentine suffered a muscle injury which left him on the bench at their last match while Sime Vrsaljko is to miss the clash due to injury he picked during international break.
On the other hand, Tottenham is still considering whether Dele Alli who has been battling hamstring injury will return to duty as soon as possible.
Despite Michel Vorm’s criticism, he will continue to stand in between the goal over Lloris. Though Moussa Sissoko and Juan Foyth are still hoping to return back soon, they are still sidelined due to injury.
Meanwhile captain Hugo Lloris and teammate Vincent Janssen remain out for the visiting team (Tottenham Hotspur).
