This letter is the original letter emanating from the office of EBSU registrar (Mrs. Bibian Nwokwu) to counter the rumor flying in the air that Ebonyi State University has been mandated by the Governor, Engr. Chief David Nweze Umahi to resume latest 5th October 2020.
SUSPENSION OF RETURN OF STUDENTS TO CAMPUS – EBSU ASUU Strike
Please recall that you were informed recently via our memo EBSU/R/66/VOL.11/57 of 22nd September, 2020, that Ebonyi State University will resume her full academic activities from Monday, 9th October, 2020, in line with the State Government directive on the reopening of schools in Ebonyi State.
Inversely, during the 63d Top Management meeting of Monday, 28th September, 2020, the Management discussed extensively on the nitty-gritty involved in the said resumption and resolved to suspend it for now and until further notice.
By the foregoing, all concerned should please note the change and act accordingly.
