Arsenal FC has won their first premier league match in the 2018/2019 English premier league after a come back against West Ham United.
ARSENAL FC – WINS FIRST MATCH
Arsenal FC has returned from the world of defeat to the winning land as they cruised to a 3 – 1 win over West Ham United after a tormentious start to this season’s league.
Earlier, Arsenal FC has faced 2 – 0 and 3 – 2 defeat in the hands of league giants, Manchester City FC and Chelsea FC respectively in their opening matches of the 2010/2019 English premier league.
It was actually a thrilling firs twenty minutes as both teams were showing zeal to clamp down each other but none of their attempts gave result.
At the 25th minute, Arsenal was close to another defeat when M. Arnautovic placed a low long distant shot past Peter Cech who stretched in vain only to pick the ball from his net.
Arsenal responded quickly to the goal by smart moves to level up things but to no avail though it did not last more than the 30th minute when Nacho Monreal brilliantly placed a re-bounced cross with his left foot into the net to hit up Arsenal’s chances of gaining stand.
The pressure increased on West Ham as I Diop worsened their case by using his body to place a Lacazette cross into his own net at the 70th minute to increase Arsenal’s hope of coming out successful.
Danni Welbeck sealed the fate of the Gunners when he calmly placed high the ball into the net after receiving a low cross from Bellerin in the 92nd minute of the game.
This win has placed Arsenal at the 9th position with only three points after three matches while West Ham is down the bottom of the Table at 20th with no point to their credit after three defeats.
