Valid news reaching godcentvc.com is that the 2020 WAEC result is out for candidates who sat for the examination to go and check their results.This news was released on November 2 2020 after a press briefing by the WAEC Head of the Nigeria National Office, Mr Patrick Areghan who noted that the exams were successful.
“Gentlemen of the media, as I address you today at this briefing, the 2020 WAEC results are being uploaded on the results website. So, all candidates who wrote the examination and who have fulfilled all their financial obligations to the Council can access their performance on the Council’s results website: www.waecdirect.org.
“The Result Checker PIN and Serial Number required by candidates to check their results online are contained on the Candidate’s Smart Identity Card used during the conduct of the examination. Certificates of candidates whose results have been fully processed and released will be ready within the next 90 days, counting from today.” Areghan said.

If you wanna check your result, simply follow the guidelines stated below to check your 2020 WAEC May/June result online. It’s very easy to do.
- Visit the official website of WAEC HERE
- Carefully type in your WAEC Examination Number in the required column.
- Choose your Examination Year which is 2020
- Choose your Type of Examination which is MAY/JUNE WASSCE school candidate
- Carefully type in the Card Serial Number found on the reverse side of the WAEC result checking scratch card.
- Enter the PIN on your Scratch card. Be careful in doing this. Any mistake will lead to rejection of the PIN
- Check all the details carefully to be sure they are correct
- Click on “Submit” button to get your 2020 WAEC Result.

- Visit any Banks, Post Office, Authorized Dealers and WAEC office closest to you to buy WAEC scratch card.
- Log on to WAEC result checking official portal at www.waecdirect.org
- Type carefully your center number and seat number in the required space. Note that your registration should look like this: 4310963***
- Choose the year you sat for the exam, for instance 2019
- Chose your exam type i.e. Nov/Dec.
- Carefully enter your scratch card pin and serial number in the required space.
- Cross-check your submissions to be sure they are correct
- Finally click on submit to view your result.
- You can share your results with other readers via the comment box.
